ELearning Online Credit Courses

Adult e-learning Credit is flexible and free*

Our e-learning program allows you to work at your own pace, 24/7. All courses follow the Ontario Secondary School curriculum and are delivered through the D2L Brightspace learning platform.

Learning modules are self-directed with coursework, tests and cumulative assessments are written and submitted online. All courses have an in-person examination. All work is marked by Niagara Catholic teachers. E-learning courses are offered at the Open, Workplace, College and University level.

Please note that this program is self-directed learning. A teacher is not present teaching the lessons. Teacher markers evaluate work and provide feedback on the submitted work.

Each of the four terms are 10 weeks in length and run from September to June. A maximum of two courses can be taken each term. Students can earn up to eight credits per school year.

Register to achieve your Ontario Secondary School Diploma, upgrade courses for post-secondary or obtain required courses for trade and apprenticeship programs.

*Dependent on status in Canada

Students can receive credits for previous work and life experiences through Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR). All new students will meet with an academic and career guidance counsellor for a pathway planning appointment.

At this meeting, you will need to bring the following documents:

High school transcript
Proof of status in Canada (Government Photo Identification)
Proof of residency in Ontario (Example: Utility Bill, Lease Agreement etc.)
