Adult day school credit is teacher taught and free*!
- Our synchronous program offers virtual classes led by a teacher specialized in that program. Students participate in daily live Google Meet lessons. All courses follow the Ontario Secondary School curriculum and are delivered through the D2L Brightspace learning platform.
- Course units are teacher-led with coursework, tests and cumulative assessments written and submitted online. An in-person exam is required at the end of each course. Attendance is mandatory for these courses. Synchronous courses are offered at the College, work place and Open level.
- Each of the five terms are approximately seven weeks in length and run from September to June. A maximum of two courses can be taken each term. Both morning and afternoon classes are offered. Students can earn up to 10 credits per school year.
- Register to achieve your Ontario Secondary School Diploma, upgrade courses for post-secondary or obtain required courses for trade and apprenticeship programs.
*Dependent on status in Canada
Students can receive credits for previous work and life experiences through Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR).All new students will meet with an academic and career guidance counsellor for a pathway planning appointment.
At this meeting, you will need to bring the following documents:
- High school transcript
- Proof of status in Canada (Government Photo Identification)
- Proof of residency in Ontario (Example: Utility Bill, Lease Agreement etc.)
